Who we are

Welcome to Mt. Everett Farm, where flowers bloom, futures grow, and every seed planted carries a purpose. Nestled south of Burnsville, Mississippi, at the Tishomingo and Prentiss County line, our farm is more than just fields of peonies, a large variety of cut flowers, and future Christmas trees—it is a place of beauty, inclusion, and opportunity.

Our Story My name is Elizabeth Brewster Cummings, and our son Everett Brewster has autism and will be transitioning from high school to adulthood within the next year. Unsure of what the purpose of his life could be Mt. Everett Farm was founded from a deep love for nature, family, and community. What began as a dream to cultivate Christmas trees and local flowers evolved into something even greater: a place where individuals of all abilities can thrive. As a "Care Farm," we are laying the foundation for a special needs adult vocational program, set to launch in Spring 2026, where individuals will gain hands-on experience in agriculture, floral design, and farm operations.

Our Flowers & Christmas Trees We will specialize in growing locally cut flowers and peonies. While our Christmas trees are still taking root, we look forward to the day when families can visit Mt. Everett Farm to pick out a tree, creating cherished holiday traditions.

Our Mission At Mt. Everett Farm, we believe in the power of hard work, the beauty of diversity, and the magic of growth—both in the soil and in the lives of those we serve. Over the next year, we are focused on building knowledge, community, and visibility to create a strong foundation for the farm and its future programs. Through our special needs adult vocational program, launching in 2026, we aim to cultivate independence, confidence, and joy, proving that everyone has something valuable to contribute.
